CleanSeas Pte Ltd, a joint venture incorporated
in 1993 between PSA and the four major
shipyards to provide oil sludge treatment
for shipping vessels resulting in being
the largest Annex I MARPOL reception
facility in Asia at Pulau Serabok.

gained from water and wastewater treatment
led to membrane research and development
work at the Innovation Centre, Nanyang
Technological University.

Successful
development of hollow fiber membrane
for water treatment with laboratory
and field testing by 1999.

The
first DBOO (design, build, own and operate)
contract with Mitsubishi Chemical to
treat its waste water was secured in
September 2000.

Overseas
marketing started with the first exhibition
in Bangkok in July 2003 and now operating
in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam,
Australia through OEMs.
